Annonciade Museum, Art museum in Saint-Tropez, France
The Annonciade Museum occupies a converted 16th-century chapel that exhibits paintings from 1890 to 1950 across eight exhibition rooms.
After Paul Signac discovered Saint-Tropez in 1892, he established the artist workshop La Hune, attracting numerous painters to the Mediterranean coastal town.
The museum displays works from Pointillism, Nabis, and Fauvism movements by artists including Matisse, Braque, Bonnard, and Georges Seurat.
The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 2 Place de l'Hôtel de Ville.
The collection presents Saint-Tropez's transformation from a modest fishing village into a center for avant-garde art in the early 20th century.
