Plage du Débarquement stretches for about 500 meters along the Mediterranean coast, blending sand and pebbles with clear water near the shore. This beach combines natural coastal features with a memorial area that tells the story of this place.

The beach served as a landing site on August 15, 1944, for soldiers from the 36th Texas Division during World War II. This event shaped the place and made it an important memorial location in the region.

The memorial esplanade features an authentic US landing craft and a commemorative stone dedicated to those who participated in the wartime operation. Visitors can sense the connection between this place and the soldiers whose story remains part of the local identity.

The beach has lifeguard services, restrooms, outdoor showers, and parking for over 200 vehicles. These facilities make it easy to spend a comfortable day here without needing to leave the area.

From the shaded sandy rest areas with maritime pines, visitors can see the Ile d'Or and the red rocks of the Estérel region. These views provide a break from the historical focus and make the place interesting from a natural perspective.
