Golf de la Marterie

Golf de la Marterie is an 18-hole course in the Dordogne region, set across natural terrain spanning roughly 5,700 meters. Water features and woodlands are distributed throughout the layout, creating varied playing conditions across the par-74 design.

The course opened in 2002 as a sporting facility for the Dordogne region. It developed into a recreational destination that broadened outdoor activities in southwestern France.

The layout blends with the natural oak and chestnut forests that surround it. Walking the course feels like moving through typical Périgord countryside rather than a manicured fairway.

The facility is open throughout the day with equipment available to rent and practice areas on site. A restaurant operates at the location if you need food or refreshments during your visit.

The course is built on sloping ground with natural elevation changes that force different shot strategies on nearly every hole. This terrain keeps the game unpredictable and rewards players who adapt to the changing landscape.
