Golf de Valescure

Golf de Valescure is an 18-hole course stretching about 5000 meters through dense pine forests, with narrow fairways and small greens throughout. The layout demands accurate shots and challenges golfers of varying levels.

Founded in 1895 by British aristocrats, the course is the oldest in the Var region and the fifth established in all of France. This makes it one of France's earliest golfing destinations.

The clubhouse sits in a Norwegian pavilion from the 1900 World's Fair, blending Nordic design with the local golf tradition.

The facility offers a driving range, putting green, and golf cart rentals for visitors. Equipment can be rented if you do not bring your own clubs.

The course earned a Bronze Biodiversity Label in 2021 after creating temporary ponds and installing birdhouses on the grounds. This environmental work shows how golf courses can contribute to local wildlife protection.
