Mamba Village

Mamba Village is a wildlife facility in northern Nairobi with separate enclosures for crocodiles, birds, and native mammals. Paved pathways guide visitors through each section of the grounds.

The facility was established to strengthen Kenya's conservation efforts and protect and study native animal species. The project contributed to the development of wildlife education in the region.

The center serves as a learning hub where school groups attend guided tours to discover more about African wildlife and environmental conservation. Visitors witness how education and nature protection work hand in hand here.

The grounds are open daily and allow a leisurely walk through the different sections without time pressure. Guided tours provide visitors with deeper insights into animal care and conservation work.

The facility runs specialized breeding programs for crocodiles, which are rare in the region. Trained specialists conduct regular feeding demonstrations where visitors can observe the predators in action.
