Little parc, Animal park in Val-Couesnon, France
Little Parc is an animal facility with a walking trail about one kilometer long featuring separate areas for domestic and exotic species like goats, llamas, and wallabies. Visitors move through each section at their own pace, seeing and often touching the animals up close.
The park began as a therapeutic program started by residents of a care home in Tremblay. It grew from the idea that direct contact with animals could benefit people's wellbeing and connection to nature.
Visitors engage directly with animals and learn through hands-on interaction how different species behave and thrive. This direct connection shapes how people understand and relate to the living world around them.
The grounds are easy to walk through and the path is manageable for most visitors. It helps to wear sturdy shoes and allow time to stop in different areas and observe the animals without rushing.
The park holds Romanian donkeys and Scottish cattle alongside native farm animals, making it home to animals that come from different countries. This mix shows how farming traditions vary across Europe and beyond.
