The Château de la Rouërie showcases 18th-century architecture with formal gardens and an animal park on its grounds between Brittany and Normandy regions.
Originally built in 1624, the castle underwent major construction phases in 1730 and 1824 before being registered as a historical monument in 1996.
The estate, owned by the Barbier du Mans de Chalais family, maintains the tradition of Breton mansions with its cider production and sheep breeding.
The two main halls of the castle can accommodate up to 300 people for cocktail events and are equipped with modern facilities including wifi and video projector.
The mansion was home to Armand Tuffin de la Rouërie, a figure of the American War of Independence and founder of the Breton Chouannerie in 1792.
