La Ferme des Reptiles

La Ferme des Reptiles is a zoo combining outdoor spaces and indoor enclosures that house over 200 reptiles from around 70 different species, including caymans, giant tortoises, and pythons. The facility is organized so visitors can observe these animals in environments that reflect their natural habitats.

The facility was established as an educational center when the founder's daughter Chany took over management to share her knowledge about these animals with visitors. It has since grown into a place where people can experience these creatures firsthand.

This specialized zoo contributes to public education by offering guided tours where visitors learn about reptile behavior, habitats, and the importance of species conservation.

The best time to visit is in the afternoon when most animals are more active. It is helpful to wear comfortable shoes, as you will need to walk through the entire area to see all sections.

Visitors can handle certain snakes under professional guidance and meet Hulk, an Aldabra giant tortoise that roams freely in the outdoor area. This direct experience makes the visit memorable for many.
