Le bois des lutins

Le Bois des Lutins is a forest-based amusement park covering approximately 6 hectares near Marseille, France. The grounds feature about 30 different activities including elevated treehouses to explore, pedal-powered go-karts, and water slides woven throughout the woodland setting.

The park opened in 2012 and has grown steadily over time. Visitor numbers have doubled since its founding, making it an increasingly popular destination for families in the region.

The park brings forest folklore to life through its design, with elves, gnomes, and trolls featured throughout the structures. You will notice how the woodland setting itself becomes part of the storytelling as you move between activities.

The park operates seasonally from mid-April through mid-November and welcomes families with children of various ages. Pathways between activities are easily accessible on foot, though sturdy shoes are advisable given the forest terrain.

Every structure in the park is designed to be completely removable, protecting the natural forest setting indefinitely. This approach means the woodland remains essentially untouched by permanent infrastructure.
