Sprookjesbos Valkenburg, Family theme park in Valkenburg aan de Geul, Netherlands
The theme park extends across 3 hectares on the Heunsberg hill slope, featuring playground equipment and fairy tale-inspired attractions throughout the forested area.
Bruno Bruck established the park in 1950 for his daughter, with initial fairy tale scenes crafted by art academy students using plaster and stone figures.
The park presents traditional fairy tales through physical displays, including stories of Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, and the Wolf and Seven Little Goats.
Visitors can access multiple dining options at Restaurant Grietje and Restaurant de Boshut, while the gift shop Het Tussendoortje offers themed merchandise.
The attraction incorporates natural limestone caves beneath the park, allowing guests to explore underground passages through self-guided tours.
