Riad Dar Chrifa

Riad Dar Chrifa is a Moroccan guesthouse located in Rabat's medina quarter, housed within a traditional residential building. The property features a central courtyard with mosaic tiles and carved wooden details, with guest rooms arranged around this central space.

The building dates back several decades and was originally built as a private residence before being converted into a guesthouse. The renovation respected the original medina-style architecture and maintained traditional construction techniques throughout.

Throughout the riad, you see the work of local artisans in the zellige tilework, carved wooden screens, and pottery displayed in the rooms and hallways. These crafts represent skills that Moroccan makers have passed down through generations.

The riad is centrally located in Rabat's medina, close to souks, landmarks, and public transportation stops. It is easily accessible on foot or by public transport from other parts of the city.

The rooftop terrace offers wide views across the medina's roofs and out toward Rabat's skyline. From this vantage point, guests experience the city from a perspective most travelers do not discover.
