El Trust Joyero Relojero building

The Trust Joyero Relojero building stands 11 stories tall at the intersection of Corrientes Avenue and 9 de Julio Avenue in central Buenos Aires.

Built in 1925 by Juan Peire, the structure housed the largest jewelry and watch store in Argentina, operating successfully for over six decades.

The building's corner location near the Obelisk made it a central meeting point where people gathered to watch important events on television displays.

The structure contains commercial spaces on lower levels and office spaces in its upper floors, maintaining its mixed-use character through the decades.

During the building's construction, workers discovered a chest containing colonial gold and silver coins, which were donated to the National Historical Museum.
