Wreck Beach

Wreck Beach is a broad sandy shore in Harmers Haven that stretches about 2.4 kilometers along a southwest-facing coastline. Extensive dunes back the water's edge and reach far inland, creating a landscape of sand and vegetation.

The shoreline became part of the Bunurong Marine Park, which brought conservation efforts to protect marine life in this region. This protection was created to preserve the natural diversity of Victoria's coastal waters.

At low tide, expansive flat rock surfaces emerge and form natural tidal pools filled with sea creatures. These features reveal a hidden marine world that remains covered most of the time.
