Le Clou is a campground in the Dordogne region located on a south-facing slope covering 4 hectares of land. It provides 62 pitches for tents and 43 other accommodation units including mobile homes and safari-style tents for different preferences.
The campground sits in the Dordogne, a region with deep historical roots spanning thousands of years. Archaeological evidence shows the area experienced continuous settlement from ancient times through multiple cultural periods.
The on-site restaurant serves regional Dordogne dishes prepared with nearby sourced ingredients. Visitors experience how the area maintains its local food traditions while enjoying the flavors that define the region's culinary character.
The site offers free wireless internet access throughout the grounds and an on-site heated swimming pool for guests. All essential facilities including washing machines, refrigerators, and cooking equipment are available for use.
The facility is operated by Dutch owners Karin and Luuk Heerink and operates from mid-April through early October. During peak season, organized children's entertainment programs keep younger guests engaged and occupied.
