Princess Grace Rose Garden, Rose garden in Fontvieille, Monaco
The Princess Grace Rose Garden displays 6,000 rose trees with 315 varieties across 5,000 square meters of landscaped grounds within Fontvieille Park.
Prince Rainier III established this garden in June 1984 as a memorial to Princess Grace, expanding it in 2000 and 2014 to enhance its botanical collection.
A bronze statue created by sculptor Kees Verkade in 1983 represents Princess Grace among the roses, with an illuminated fountain in the central square.
The garden welcomes visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM without entrance fees, offering guided tours every Wednesday morning led by professional gardeners.
Seven distinct themed areas showcase different rose varieties, with an interactive terminal and QR codes providing detailed information about each plant species.
