Parcours Princesse Grace, Walking trail in Monte Carlo, Monaco
Parcours Princesse Grace is a marked walking trail roughly 11 kilometers long running through the entire principality of Monaco. The route is marked by 25 black and white totems displaying informational panels that connect different areas of the territory.
The project was founded in 2007 to commemorate the period when Princess Grace served as sovereign consort from 1956 to 1982. The trail follows locations that held meaning for her and for the principality's history during those decades.
The route connects locations where Princess Grace spent significant moments during her time in the principality and left her mark on its life. At each stop, visitors learn through panels about both personal and public aspects of her life in Monaco.
A walking guide is available free to download from Monaco's official website and helps navigate the entire route. The black and white markers are clearly visible throughout the trail and easy to follow from one section to the next.
During summer months, an interactive puzzle game runs along the trail where visitors answer questions about Monaco and submit their responses. This turns exploring the Parcours into a playful adventure for families and curious travelers.
