The park was built on the grounds of a former airport and opened its doors in 2010. This project transformed an old industrial site into a place where visitors can learn about the plant world.
The park displays plants from different regions and shows how people use them in daily life. You see practical examples of how plants provide clothing, food, and medicines.
The grounds are very spacious, so wear comfortable shoes and plan enough time to explore all areas. Pathways run through all zones and are easy to walk, with good access for people with mobility needs.
Visitors can ride in small boats on a recreated river section and see different landscapes and plants from the water. This journey offers an unusual perspective on the collection and makes the visit feel like an adventure rather than just a walk.
