Gowa Discovery Park

Gowa Discovery Park spans 7.2 hectares and includes multiple swimming pools, water slides, a lazy river, and dedicated areas for children and families.

The water park opened in 2013 near the historic Benteng Somba Opu fortress, which was a significant trading port during the 16th century Gowa Dynasty.

The park features a bird garden showcasing Indonesian native species, including cendrawasih and elang paria, representing local wildlife diversity.

Visitors must wear appropriate swimwear, and lockers are available for storing personal belongings while enjoying the water attractions from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The park incorporates an outbound adventure zone where guests can participate in adrenaline activities before entering the water attractions.
