Vazrazhdane Aquapark
Vazrazdhane Aquapark is a water facility with five outdoor pools, eight slides for different thrill levels, and an indoor swimming pool that operates seasonally. The complex spans over 6,600 square meters and includes a sauna park with steam and Finnish saunas, massage rooms, a salt room, and a tanning bath for wellness experiences.
The area was developed as a leisure zone as part of Sofia's urban expansion and took its name from the neighborhood's history. It has evolved into a modern wellness and recreation destination that serves both residents and visitors to the city.
The name Vazrazhdane connects to the neighborhood's past and its role in the city's development. Today, the facility serves as a gathering place where locals and visitors spend leisure time together, especially during warm months.
The site sits in central Sofia next to Vazrazhdane Park and is easily reached by buses, trolleybuses, and a nearby metro station. Visitors should bring their own towels and swimwear; loungers and umbrellas are on-site, and lockers are accessed through a wristband system that must be returned upon departure.
The wristband system lets visitors access services and rent lockers without carrying cash or cards, making visits simpler and giving guests more freedom while enjoying the water. This contactless approach works throughout the facility for all purchased services.
