Visulahti

Visulahti is an amusement complex in Mikkeli featuring swimming pools, water slides, and a wax museum dedicated to dinosaur displays. The grounds include multiple pools for bathing, three large slides for water recreation, and educational exhibits throughout.

The park opened in 1980 beside Lake Saimaa and the Kuopio Highway as a regional leisure destination. Spanish ownership through Aspro Ocio S.A. began in 2007 and brought operational changes to the facility.

The park centers on dinosaur themes as a learning approach that appeals to Finnish families, replacing typical carnival rides with educational focus. Guests encounter oversized replicas and displays throughout the grounds designed for hands-on exploration.

The site offers an on-site campground for extended stays and spacious zones for swimming and sliding activities. Families can divide their time between water recreation and exhibit exploration at their own pace.
