The restaurant opened in 1993, founded by Germano and Angelina, who came from Tuscany and brought their regional recipes to Rome. Today their children, Cristina and Marco, run the place.
Pici, pappardelle, and tagliatelle are rolled by hand every day, which you can sometimes see from the dining room. The menu shifts with the seasons and reflects Tuscan hunting traditions, with dishes like wild boar and pheasant appearing at the right time of year.
Booking ahead is recommended, as the dining room is small and tables fill up quickly in the evening. When reserving, you can ask for a spot inside or outside on the piazza.
The wine list rotates through more than 300 labels over the course of a year, with most coming from Tuscany. Staff are happy to suggest a bottle that matches the dish you ordered.
