The garden contains over 100 tropical species from five continents, featuring rare specimens like macadamia trees, gourds, mamey sapote, and camphor trees.

The De Armas family established this garden in the late 19th century, collecting seeds and plants through their shipping company connections worldwide.

Notable poets from Gran Canaria, including Saulo Torón, Tomás Morales, and Alonso Quesada, spent time reflecting and creating in these gardens.

The garden welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with an entrance fee of 1.50 euros for adults.

Each plant in the collection originates from seeds brought by family members and friends during their international travels over multiple generations.
