Le Dernier Panache

Le Dernier Panache is an indoor theater in Les Epesses with a unique design featuring seating platforms that move throughout the performance. The moving stages carry spectators through different decorated environments, allowing them to view the action from multiple angles during the approximately 34-minute show.

The theater was created at Puy du Fou and presents a story inspired by a French naval officer from the 18th century. The production combines historical narrative with modern stage engineering to bring this era to life through spectacle.

The production tells the story of French naval life and maritime adventures. Visitors watch scenes depicting the world of ships and sailors, with decorations and music that reflect the hardship and heroism of seafaring traditions.

The venue is accessible for all visitors, with wheelchair facilities throughout the building. Staff members speak multiple languages and can assist with directions and questions about the experience.

The theater features seven different stage sets that the entire audience moves through during a single performance. This rotating platform system creates a fully immersive experience that sets it apart from conventional theater.
