Sumur Tiga Beach

The beach stretches along the eastern coast of Weh Island with soft white sand meeting clear blue waters beneath green hills and tropical forests.

The beach takes its name from three ancient freshwater wells that locals traditionally used as their primary water source despite proximity to the ocean.

Local fishermen maintain their traditional lifestyle along the shore, setting out early each morning in their boats against the backdrop of sunrise.

Visitors can reach the beach by taking a 20-minute car ride from Balohan harbor, with multiple beachfront resorts offering accommodations nearby.

The beach presents different characteristics throughout the day, with strong morning waves suitable for surfing and calmer afternoon waters for snorkeling.
