Plage des Capucins stretches along the Mediterranean coast with fine gravel and sand, offering views of the Green Island and Eagle's Beak rock formations.

The beach takes its name from the adjacent Capucins port, which has served local maritime activities since the development of La Ciotat's coastal infrastructure.

The beach maintains separate zones for different activities, including a designated volleyball court near Place Toche and specific areas for water sports.

The beach provides two free showers, public restrooms, a lifeguard station during summer months, and several restaurants within walking distance.

A designated section between the seawall and Villa des Tours allows dogs on leashes, making it one of the few pet-friendly beaches in the region.
