Holkham Naturist Beach

Holkham Beach stretches along Norfolk's coastline with extensive sandy shores, bordered by dunes and pine forests extending toward the North Sea.

The beach gained formal recognition for naturism in the 1950s, faced a temporary ban in 2013, and subsequently regained its status through British Naturism advocacy.

Local authorities and naturist organizations maintain specific guidelines to preserve both the natural environment and the designated clothing-optional areas of the beach.

Visitors need to walk approximately two miles from the main car park on Lady Anne's Drive, with the naturist section located at the western end.

The beach's tidal patterns create an exceptionally wide sandy expanse during low tide, while high tide naturally cleanses the entire shoreline daily.
