Spiaggia della Crucicchia is a beach in Ficarazzi with sand and pebbles mixed along the shoreline. The water displays different colors depending on the time of day, ranging from turquoise to deep blue.

This beach developed naturally over centuries and sits near Ficarazzi Castle, a medieval fortress built during the period when Sicily was shaped by Norman rule. The castle stands as a reminder of the strategic importance this coastal area once held.

Fishermen work here daily, casting nets and bringing in catches that feed local restaurants and family tables. The beach remains a central gathering place for the community, especially in early morning hours when the water is calm.

The beach offers rental services for beach chairs and umbrellas, with a beachside establishment providing food and drinks. Visitors should note that these facilities operate seasonally and are not available year-round.

The seabed drops steeply right offshore, creating shallow and deep zones within just a few meters of the shore. This sudden depth change makes the water suitable for different kinds of water activities, from wading to deeper swimming.
