Spiaggia delle Acque Calde

Spiaggia delle Acque Calde is a narrow strip of black pebbles and stones running along the water's edge in Lipari. Behind it rises a white pumice mountain that dominates the landscape and creates a striking visual contrast.

This beach was shaped by ancient volcanic eruptions that formed the Aeolian Islands long ago. The black pebbles and white pumice stone are remnants of that volcanic past embedded in the landscape.

Fishermen work along the shore, mending nets and launching boats as part of daily island life. You can watch them work and feel how deeply connected this community is to the sea.

Buses connect the beach regularly to Lipari town center, making access straightforward and convenient. The area has more services and facilities available during the summer months from June through September.

Warm springs bubble up from the seabed and create natural hot spots where the water feels noticeably warmer than elsewhere. This unusual feature makes swimming in these areas feel like bathing in naturally heated water.
