Spiaggia del Mort, Nude beach in Jesolo, Italy
Spiaggia del Mort is a sandy beach along a natural coastline near Eraclea Mare, bordered by dunes and a small pine forest behind it. The shoreline extends for several hundred meters and is protected by a low concrete wall with steps to prevent coastal erosion.
The location received official designation as a naturist beach in 2006 when Italy established legislation for public clothing-optional areas. This made the beach one of the few legal places on the Venetian coast where this form of recreation is permitted.
This section of the Venetian coast allows visitors to choose between clothing-optional and traditional bathing, reflecting how locals view body freedom. People come here to swim and relax without feeling watched or judged for their choices.
Reaching the beach requires about a 25-minute walk from the parking area through fields and over a wooden bridge with no facilities along the way. It is wise to bring water and snacks since there are no shops, changing rooms, or showers at the location.
The beach maintains its natural state with minimal development, distinguishing it from many other coastal areas. This lack of commercialization contributes to its quiet and undisturbed character.
