Praia Fluvial da Amieira

Praia Fluvial da Amieira is a river beach on an artificial lake in Portugal featuring sandy shores and designated swimming zones. The site includes modern facilities such as changing rooms, a medical station, a restaurant, and parking areas for visitors.

The beach opened in 2019 following the creation of Europe's largest artificial lake by the Alqueva Dam. This development fundamentally reshaped the region and turned the lake into a new center for leisure and economy.
