Playa de Cabopino, Sand beach and naturist area in Marbella, Spain
Playa de Cabopino is a sand beach on the Costa del Sol coast with multiple sections separated by natural dunes and pine forest. The bay stretches about 1200 meters and features different areas shaped by the landscape itself.
Torre Ladrones, a 15-meter tall watchtower, was built during the 14th century under Moorish rule to protect this coastal area. The tower still stands today as a reminder of that medieval period.
The beach maintains separate zones where naturist visitors have their own designated section while other areas serve all swimmers and sunbathers. This arrangement reflects how the Spanish coast embraces different ways of enjoying the seaside.
The beach has showers, restrooms, sun lounger rentals, and several restaurants with tables by the water. Bring what you need if visiting early morning or late afternoon when some services may be limited.
This is one of the last natural dune systems along this stretch of the Costa del Sol and has been protected as an ecological heritage site. The system was shaped over thousands of years by wind and water, showing how nature still forms this coastline.
