Port of Cabopino, Marina on Costa del Sol in Marbella, Spain.
Port of Cabopino is a yacht harbor on Costa del Sol with space for about 169 boats along the Mediterranean coast. The facility lies between hillsides covered with pine forests and has an entrance about 60 meters wide with water depths between 2.5 and 3.5 meters.
The port opened in 1966 following the start of tourism development in the region. It transformed a small fishing settlement into a modern recreational harbor.
The port brings together locals and visitors who use their boats or simply enjoy the view. The waterfront shows how this coastal area has adapted to serve both practical maritime needs and leisure activities.
Keep in mind the port is primarily designed for boat owners, but the surrounding area invites walks along the coast. Nearby beaches and forest trails are easy to access during the day.
Natural sand dunes and pine forests line both sides of the harbor and create protected beach areas. A section of the adjacent beach is designated as a naturist zone.
