Calahonda

The beach of Calahonda extends for 4,400 meters along the Costa del Sol, featuring a mixture of sand and small pebbles at its shoreline.

The coastal area underwent substantial transformation from an undeveloped shoreline into a prominent tourist destination during the late twentieth century development of Costa del Sol.

The beachfront incorporates traditional Spanish chiringuitos where visitors can taste local seafood dishes while looking at Mediterranean waters.

Multiple beach facilities include lifeguards, showers, rental equipment for water activities, and numerous access points along the coastal stretch.

From certain points of the beach, visitors can observe both the Rock of Gibraltar and the North African coastline across the Mediterranean Sea.
