La Calilla

La Calilla is a beach along the Spanish Mediterranean coast near Níjar, featuring medium-grain sand and clear water. The shoreline extends about 200 meters and offers a quiet stretch of coast with a natural character.

You reach the beach through a passage next to El Salvador church, followed by a steep zigzagging ramp for descent. The path is clearly marked but requires care due to the slope.

At low tide, smaller adjacent coves become visible that are normally underwater, offering unexpected exploration opportunities. These hidden coastal spaces appear only briefly and reward curious visitors with surprise discoveries.
