Seaforth Beach

Seaforth Beach is a sandy shoreline along Jordan Lake offering direct water access for swimming and water-based recreation. The beach features a gradual slope into the water and maintains good visibility across the lake surface.

The beach developed following construction of the Jordan Lake reservoir in the 1970s as a flood management project. The creation of the lake opened this shoreline for public recreation.

The beach serves as a central gathering place for local communities, where families participate in traditional summer activities and water sports throughout the season.

The beach is accessible during daylight hours with parking and basic facilities like restrooms and picnic areas. The water is warmest during summer months making that the ideal visiting season.

The beach offers regular chances to spot bald eagles that nest in the surrounding forests. These large raptors can often be seen soaring over the water while hunting.
