Savasi Island

Savasi Island is a private resort on Vanua Levu featuring limestone cliffs, volcanic crevasses, and sandy beaches surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and coral reefs. The landscape combines geological formations with reef ecosystems that define the island's natural boundaries.

Development of the resort began in the early 2000s with careful construction of individual villas designed to minimize environmental impact. This gradual approach shaped the current layout and operations of the property.

The resort incorporates traditional Fijian architectural elements in its villas, using local materials and craftwork to reflect the regional building techniques.

Guests arrive through Savusavu Airport and then take a short transfer to the island. The resort accepts Fijian dollars and major international credit cards for payment.

A converted sailing vessel named Serenity remains permanently docked in the marina and serves as additional guest accommodation with five staterooms and an on-board cinema. The vessel offers an unusual overnight experience compared to the standard villas.
