Biausevu Waterfall

Biausevu Waterfall is a two-tiered cascade on Fiji's Coral Coast that drops around 20 meters through thick vegetation. A natural pool forms at the base where swimmers can cool off.

Local communities have used this site for generations, maintaining the paths through traditional care and knowledge passed down over time. It has remained an important place for the village throughout the years.

The waterfall holds deep meaning for the local village, serving as a gathering place where ceremonies and celebrations take place throughout the year.

The trail to the waterfall is about three kilometers round trip with several stream crossings, so waterproof shoes are important to bring. Be prepared for slippery ground and wet conditions throughout the walk.

Young guides from the village lead visitors and share knowledge about local plants and safe climbing techniques at the waterfall. This knowledge is passed down through personal teaching rather than written guides.
