Natadola Beach

Natadola Beach is a coastline of white sand in Nadroga-Navosa with clear water suitable for swimming and surfing. The shore stretches for several kilometers and offers different conditions for beginners and experienced surfers.

The coastal area remained quiet for generations until major resort construction began in 2009. This development transformed it from a quiet fishing community into a recognized destination.

Local Fijian communities maintain traditional ceremonies on the beach, including kava rituals and fire walking demonstrations for visitors throughout the year.

You can reach the beach by car from Nadi Airport in less than an hour. The climate stays warm year-round, with the drier season from May to October being the best time to visit.

Salt is produced in shallow ponds beside the beach using traditional methods where seawater evaporates and forms crystals. This practice continues today and shows how people have worked with the coast for a long time.
