Natadola Beach, Beach and salt pan in Nadroga-Navosa, Fiji
The white sandy coastline of Natadola Beach extends along crystal waters with an inside break for beginners and outside break for advanced surfers.
The area developed from a remote coastal location into a major tourism destination after the construction of the InterContinental resort and golf course in 2009.
Local Fijian communities maintain traditional ceremonies on the beach, including kava rituals and fire walking demonstrations for visitors throughout the year.
The beach lies 45 minutes from Nadi International Airport, with temperatures ranging between 83-88°F year-round and optimal visiting conditions from May to October.
Salt production continues in traditional pans near the beach, where seawater naturally evaporates to create mineral-rich crystalline deposits.
