Installed on June 9, 2009, this statue continues the tradition that began in 2001 with Papa Krasnal, the first official dwarf placed in Wrocław.
The statue forms part of a larger collection that emerged from the Orange Alternative movement of the 1980s, when citizens used gnome symbols to protest.
