De-eF-eNek, Bronze dwarf statue in Old Town, Wrocław, Poland
De-eF-eNek stands among more than 400 small bronze figures scattered throughout the streets and corners of Wrocław, measuring between 20 to 30 centimeters tall.
The statue, installed in October 2022, continues the tradition that started with Papa Dwarf in 2001 as a memorial to the Orange Alternative anti-communist movement.
Each dwarf in Wrocław represents different aspects of city life, connecting to Polish folklore characters called krasnoludek while creating an open-air art exhibition.
Visitors can find De-eF-eNek near the Hansel & Gretel houses using maps available at tourist information centers or through dedicated mobile applications.
The figure belongs to a collection that transforms the urban landscape into an engaging scavenger hunt, encouraging exploration of Wrocław's architectural heritage.
