Central de Autobuses Puebla
Central de Autobuses Puebla (CAPU) is a major bus station in the northwestern part of Puebla, Mexico. It has many loading platforms, ticket counters, waiting areas, and small shops for travelers passing through.
The station opened in 1988 and gradually became one of the busiest bus terminals in Mexico. Over the years, it was expanded several times to handle the growing number of travelers moving through the region.
The station is a place where daily routines unfold and people from different parts of Mexico meet each other. Visitors can observe the energy that flows through the constant movement of travelers creating connections between Puebla and the rest of the country.
It is a good idea to arrive a bit early, especially around holidays or weekends when buses fill up quickly. The terminal has restrooms, luggage storage, and shops where you can pick up food or supplies before your trip.
From CAPU, buses travel not only across Mexico but also into Central America, which is unusual for a regional bus station. This makes it one of the few terminals in the country offering international routes by road.
