Waldklettergarten Pforzheim, Forest climbing park in Pforzheim, Germany
Waldklettergarten Pforzheim is a treetop adventure course with six different routes winding through the forest canopy of the local Wildpark. The courses range from three to eleven meters high and offer varied difficulty levels to suit different experience and ability levels.
The facility developed from a local initiative to convert part of the Wildpark forest into a modern recreation area for the Baden-Württemberg region. The project brought together contemporary adventure design with conservation of the existing woodland.
The park reflects a local tradition of combining recreation with forest access, bringing people together to experience nature in an active way. Visitors of all ages come here to challenge themselves while staying connected to the wooded environment around them.
Participants must be at least 1.20 meters (4 feet) tall and complete a safety briefing before starting any course. The SmartBelay safety system provides continuous protection throughout your time on the courses.
The facility offers special moonlight climbing sessions where visitors can tackle the courses under the night sky. These nighttime experiences provide a completely different perspective on the forest and the physical challenges of climbing at height.
