Camping Los Jarales, Wooded campground in Mijas-Costa, Spain.
Camping Los Jarales is a campground in Mijas-Costa with 175 individual gravel plots, each around 60 square meters in size. Each plot has electrical connections and satellite television hookups, and the entire property is planted with numerous pine trees that provide natural shade.
The site was founded in the 1970s and was positioned as a summer destination along the Costa del Sol, strategically situated between Marbella and Fuengirola. It emerged during a period when tourism along the Spanish coast was growing rapidly and more accommodation options were needed.
The facility is part of the Urbanisation Sitio de Calahonda community and connects visitors with local markets, restaurants, and Spanish coastal living. The grounds reflect how travelers spend their days here, balancing time between the beach, shade under pine trees, and casual moments with other guests.
The grounds are just 300 meters from the beach, making it convenient for quick access to the sea. The facility operates from June through September and accepts tents, motorhomes, and caravans with space for up to eight guests per plot.
The property includes designated areas for naturist camping, offering separate zones for guests interested in this style. These areas are integrated into the general pine-tree landscape of the grounds and allow for a discreet experience alongside other visitors.
