Babylon 360, Observation deck in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, Portugal.
Babylon 360 occupies the top of the Vasco da Gama Tower, standing approximately 476 feet (145 meters) tall, offering complete panoramic views of Lisbon and the Tagus River from Portugal's tallest building.
The Vasco da Gama Tower was originally built for Expo 98, a world's fair celebrating the oceans, and reopened to the public decades later to honor the explorer's 1498 voyage to India.
The rooftop bar serves cocktails inspired by the Age of Discovery, incorporating spices like turmeric, cardamom, and mango that Portuguese sailors encountered during their historic maritime expeditions to India.
The viewpoint is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while the bar extends hours until midnight on most days and until 2:00 AM on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and bank holidays.
Visitors can scan QR codes displayed on the dome's windows to access stories, historical facts about Portugal, and helpful tips for appreciating the surrounding 360-degree views of the city.
