Papagayo Garden

Jardín del Papagayo houses over 50 species of exotic birds in a subtropical environment featuring tropical vegetation and spacious aviaries where visitors can closely observe parrots, macaws, cockatoos and other colorful species in carefully designed habitats.

Founded as a space dedicated to conservation and exhibition of exotic birds, the park has gradually expanded with specialized areas like Tropical Fort, establishing itself as an educational center recognized for promoting responsible wildlife interaction.

The garden strengthens cultural connections with nature through interactive summer shows, educational activities about biodiversity and live demonstrations that convey values of animal respect and the importance of species conservation to visitors of all ages.

Open daily from 11:00 to 15:00, admission costs 16€ for adults and 12€ for children under 11, with free Land Rover safari-style transportation from Peñíscola and optional access to Tropical Fort for an additional 3.50€.

Visitors can participate in egg incubation sessions and observe the first days of life of newborn parrots, providing a rare educational experience about the reproductive cycle of exotic birds in a controlled environment.
