This 3-kilometer forest trail winds through the Derbali woods near Gibloux, featuring over 114 wooden sculptures carved with chainsaws by various artists, creating an outdoor art gallery experience.
Created in 1998 as an accessible artistic walk for all visitors, the trail has continuously evolved with new sculptures added regularly by local and invited artists over more than two decades.
The sculptures represent diverse subjects including owls, deer, bears, abstract forms, and human figures, showcasing the precision and craftsmanship achievable through chainsaw carving techniques in a natural forest setting.
The easy trail takes approximately 90 minutes to complete with parking available at the entrance, accessible by car via Bulle-Riaz-Sorens route or by public bus from Bulle to Sorens.
