Riad EspritBleu, Guest house in Essaouira, Morocco.
Riad EspritBleu is a guest house organized around a bright central courtyard across four stories, with high ceilings, supporting columns, chandeliers, and contemporary artwork throughout. The design merges modern touches with traditional Moroccan building styles seamlessly.
Essaouira grew as a significant Atlantic port over many centuries, shaped by Arab, Berber, and European influences. These layers of history remain visible in the local architecture and the way different traditions coexist in the medina today.
The ground floor holds Miss Keren Concept Store, displaying handcrafted works by Moroccan designers. The collection features contemporary crafts, clothing, and accessories that show how local artisans blend traditional techniques with modern ideas.
The riad sits in the southern section of Essaouira's medina close to Bab Marrakech gate, making local markets, craft shops, and dining spots walkable from your door. Exploring the winding streets and local life happens naturally without needing to travel far.
The third floor houses a luxurious suite complete with its own glazed pool and access to a shared terrace fitted with a plancha grill and fire bowls. From this height, you can watch the medina's rooftops and streets below while cooking or relaxing.
