The restaurant was founded by chef Émile Cotte, who comes from the Limousin region and previously ran an establishment in Paris's 5th arrondissement. This newer location occupies a former modern residence that once belonged to diplomat Jean Chauvel.

The restaurant brings together French bistro traditions and regional dishes from Limousin, focusing on food meant for sharing and simple recipes that receive a modern touch in technique and presentation.

The restaurant welcomes guests from Monday through Friday starting at 7 PM and on Saturday also from 7 PM onwards. The menu changes regularly depending on ingredient availability, so expect different options each visit.

The space includes a dedicated wine cellar where you can purchase regional products and wines to take away. There is also a separate chef's table area set apart from the main dining room for more private meals.
