Vignoble Favre & Fils, Organic vineyard in La Fromagerie village, Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, France.

Vignoble Favre & Fils is a wine estate in the La Fromagerie area of Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron that has been farmed entirely using organic methods since 2010. The vineyard produces Charentais wines, Pineau des Charentes, and cognac from its own grapes and facilities.

The family estate was founded in 1900 and has remained under Favre family management across multiple generations. Direct sales of the vineyard's products began in 1968 and remain a central part of its operations.

The name La Fromagerie recalls the area's former cheese-making traditions, while the vineyard now works with regional grape varieties to express the distinctive character of Oléron's landscape.

The estate welcomes visitors from Monday through Saturday during afternoon hours and offers cellar tours with tastings of their products. Planning a visit in advance helps ensure you can join a guided tour that suits your schedule.

The grapes grow in a salt-influenced coastal climate that shapes their flavor in ways impossible to replicate inland. This proximity to the Atlantic gives the wines a subtle maritime quality that sets them apart.
