Bagh-e-Naran, Public park in Phase 1 Hayatabad, Peshawar, Pakistan.
This 16.8-acre recreational space features well-maintained pathways, native trees, open areas for children and adults, and a mini zoo housing monkeys, deer, zebras, and various bird species.
Originally developed as part of urban beautification efforts and public park expansion projects, Bagh-e-Naran has undergone recent infrastructural enhancements including new benches, washrooms, and flora plantings.
The park serves as a communal gathering space where families celebrate weekends and holidays, with playgrounds and animal exhibits providing entertainment and educational opportunities for children from diverse backgrounds.
Located on Habib Jalib Road, the park operates daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM with parking facilities available, though visitors should arrive early during cooler morning or evening hours.
A major extension approved in December 2022 with a budget of Rs 535 million will add jogging tracks, cycling paths, an open-air gymnasium, and additional playgrounds to enhance sports facilities.
